Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) - Leg Ulcer Recovery
I wanted to share an exciting update on the remarkable results we've seen with one of my clients following just a few sessions in our hyperbaric chamber at HyperbaricO2.
This client initially presented with a leg ulcer that wasn't healing on it's own after 9 months. After just a couple of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) sessions, they are already experiencing significant improvements.
HBOT has shown incredible promise in reducing inflammation, accelerating tissue repair, and enhancing overall recovery, even in the early stages of treatment. It’s inspiring to witness these tangible benefits firsthand, further highlighting the potential of this therapy to complement other medical treatments.
If you’d like to learn more about this case or discuss how HBOT might support other patients, please feel free to reach out.
WHAT IS HBOT?
HBOT (Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy) involves breathing in oxygen pressurized by up to 3 times higher than normal oxygen pressure.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
By providing oxygen under higher pressure, approx 5-10 x more oxygen is dissolved into the plasma and is available to the tissues in the body. Normally courses of 15-20 treatments are required for resolution of the condition
